Virtual sleep apnea diagnosis and treatment provider Gem Health raises $7 million in a Series A funding round led by LFE Capital and HealthTrend Capital.

Online vanity prescription delivery company Hims & Hers shuts down Apostrophe, an online dermatology business it acquired in 2021 for $190 million.

Virtual alcohol addiction treatment clinic Ria Health secures an undisclosed amount of funding from investors that include BPA Private Equity and SV Health Investors. The company, which works primarily with payers, has raised over $30 million since launching in 2016.

The William N. Pennington Life Center begins offering a dedicated space for telehealth consults, making it the first such facility to offer virtual care to residents in rural Nevada.

The local news profiles The Menopause Clinic, a membership-based virtual practice launched earlier this year by husband-and-wife team Steven Youngblood, MD and Crystal Burke, FNP-C that offers menopausal care patients in Louisiana. The idea for the clinic was inspired by Burke’s experience with perimenopause: “When I started seeing multiple doctors for my symptoms, I had to take time off work. I had to wait in traffic, wait in a doctor’s office. That is our goal: accessibility and convenience.”
