An MGMA poll of 328 medical group leaders finds that 42% have or are in the process of developing AI governance policies. Of the groups that do have some sort of AI oversight in place, most review them on a regular basis. Of the 56% that don’t have any AI policies in place, respondents note they are using AI mainly in the areas of documentation, revenue cycle, and administrative and operational support.
