New research from MGMA reveals that the more things (attempt) to change, the more they stay the same – at least when it comes to regulatory burdens: Over 90% of surveyed physicians believe such burdens have increased over the last year, and – not surprisingly – that reducing those burdens would better enable physicians to care for patients. Top burdens, which small-practice respondents say they can’t afford to outsource, include prior authorization, audits and appeals, and MIPS.

Jonathan Moore, DPM donates over 1,000 pairs of diabetic footwear to the people of Ukraine through Healing Hands International. The supplies are left over from Moore’s Physician’s Select practice, which he closed earlier this year. Moore also founded and was a managing partner of Cumberland Foot and Ankle Centers in Kentucky, which he sold to Upperline Health in 2021.
