The FTC bans virtual alcohol addiction treatment company Monument from sharing patient health data with third-party advertising sites. Monument allegedly shared the highly sensitive data of 84,000 patients with advertisers including Meta and Google without their consent, despite publishing privacy policies to the contrary.

Family Medicine in Albuquerque scrambles to treat patients in the dark after thieves cause a power outage while stripping a nearby transformer of copper wire. The practice was without power for several days, cutting exam room availability from 15 to five while relying on lanterns, work lights, and good old fashioned daylight. The thieves, offenders well known to local authorities, were apprehended within a few days.
