Tech-enabled cancer care company Thyme Care announces $97 million in Series D funding, bringing its total raised to $275 million since launching in 2020.

Co-founders Robin Shah and Bobby Green, MD both spent time at Flatiron Health. Shah, Thyme Care’s CEO, then went on to help launch OneOncology in 2019. Green, Thyme Care’s chief medical officer and president, joined the company in 2021.

Norway-based Nolla Health raises $4.5 million in seed funding. It plans to open a New York City office as it bring its subscription-based skin care apps to consumers in 40 states.

Sunrise Group will use $29 million in new funding to expand its Dreem Health digital sleep clinic across the country. Belgium-based Sunrise acquired California-based Dream Health last year.

Dallas, TX-based medical billing and coding company Plutus Health opens an office in Addison, TX. The company offers its services to physician practices, ambulatory surgery centers, and mental and behavioral healthcare providers.

RCM and consulting business Vee Healthtek acquires Precision Practice Management, which also offers RCM and technical support services.

A couple in Irvine, CA are accused of identity theft and insurance fraud after Rebecca Juarez stole patient health data from the practice she worked at and then gave it to Juan Pablo Rodriguez, who inputted it into the EHR at a separate practice that he worked at to submit fake insurance claims. The conspirators allegedly stole the identities of 21 patients and generated $10,000 in bogus claims.
