Virtual neurology clinic Neura Health raises $11.4 million in Series A funding, bringing its total raised to $22 million. The new funding will help the company further expand into memory care.

Neura Health co-founder and CEO Elizabeth Burstein led product at Maven Clinic, a virtual women’s and family healthcare clinic, before helping to launch Neura in 2020.

England’s NHS begins requiring all GP practices to offer online appointment scheduling throughout the business day. Previously, some practices only offered online bookings during certain times of the day or until a certain number of slots were filled. The requirement aims to free up practice phone lines and ultimately reduce the number of patients who resort to going to the ER because they couldn’t get in to see their local GP.
