Wisconsin Public Radio profiles children’s author Margi Preus and her forthcoming book, “Snowshoe Kate and the Hospital Built for Pennies.” The illustrated book tells the story of Kate Pelham Newcomb, MD who practiced in Wisconsin near the turn of the 20th century.
