The Venice Family Clinic in California renames itself the Chuck Lorre Rose Avenue Health and Wellness Center in honor of the television producer whose generous donations over the past 20 years have helped enable its extensive renovations. Lorre explained at the center’s ribbon-cutting, “When I first came to Los Angeles, I was really sick, I was really physically extremely ill. I was 110 pounds, and (my) prospects weren’t good. And I had no insurance. So this is important to me. The opportunity to see a doctor when you need to see a doctor, no matter what’s in your wallet, is really personal to me.”

GoodRx adds real-time health insurance benefit information to the provider side of its prescription cost software, giving physicians the ability to offer patients transparent prescription pricing at the point of care.
