Akumin, a national outpatient radiology and oncology care services provider, postpones appointments at its fixed-site locations while it deals with a ransomware attack that forced it to shut down its computer systems. The company also offers its clinical services through hospitals and health systems. It also offers managed services.
The attack seems to have taken place at the end of September, based on patient Facebook comments.
