Carepatron raises $4 million in seed funding, bringing the startup’s total raised to $5.6 million. The company offers practices easily modifiable operating software with practice management, patient engagement, and clinical documentation capabilities. It plans on using the new investment to develop AI and automation features. It is based in New Zealand, but counts US-based practices as half of its customer base.

CareCloud reports Q3 revenue of $29.3 million, a 13% decrease over Q3 2022. The company expects layoffs, scheduled to wrap up by the end of the year, to help make up for some of the lost revenue, which CareCloud attributes to the loss of two customers health system mergers.
