The HHS Office of Civil rights launches an investigation into the Change Healthcare attack to determine if patient data was breached and what, if any, HIPAA violations have been committed by Change and parent company UnitedHealth Group.
UnitedHealth Group has said Change Healthcare’s electronic payments systems will be restored by March 15 and its medical claims platform by the week of March 18. Its e-prescribing and pharmacy claims and payments capabilities came back online on March 7.
