The local news interviews Carbon Health co-founder Caesar Djavaherian, MD about the primary care company’s COVID-19 vaccine delivery partnership with the City of Los Angeles: “Some of the ways we’ve impacted vaccine distribution administration is that with the same number of employees, we’ve nearly doubled the number of vaccines delivered at the same sites. That shows you how important the technology is. We’ve made things like recording the visit automated. We’re not spending time handwriting the vaccine and the lot number, which is what most people are experiencing. It’s a literal race against this virus.”
Indiana high school sophomore Charlotte Annes helps the local chapter of Telehealth Access for Seniors donate dozens of smartphones, tablets, and laptops to veterans and seniors across the state. The student-run organization has so far given 3,200 devices to 105 partner clinics across 26 states.
